Pufferfish contain tetrodotoxin, a substance that makes them foul tasting and often lethal to fish. To humans, tetrodotoxin is deadly, up to 1,200 times more poisonous than cyanide. There is enough toxin in one pufferfish to kill 30 adult humans, and there is no known antidote.

Panjang Reef is just north of Angel Reef and is a submerged coral reef. Among the healthy corals and colonies of reef fish you will find a macro paradise. If you have very good eyes, and are very patient, you can find Pygmy Sea Horses hiding amongst the fans, Ribbon Eels, Frog Fish, and for the ultra keen eyed, Blue Ringed Octopus. Fully grown adults are tiny, reaching only the size of half of your thumb, but carry one of the most toxic poisons to be found in the sea, so don't touch!!
