Dive Sites of The Surin Islands National Park
Ko Chi
- Site Layout:
- Gently sloping fringing hard coral reef and granite boulders

- Surface to 25m

- Can be strong, though drifting is the norm here
- Visibility:
- Up to 30m
- Surface:
- North East of Ko Surin Neua, almost always calm and sheltered
- Site access:
- Dinghy or MV Philkade depending when the site is dived
Dive sites on both the north and east sides of this small rocky island can bear fruit, and the choice of the two is dependant upon the days prevailing current. The shallower areas of the site are mainly Staghorn or Table Acropora corals, while the deeper areas are gently sloping and/or scattered boulders. Around these you are likely to see Great Barracuda, Trevally, and Dogtooth Tuna. In the coral areas you are more likely to see Butterfly Fish and Angel Fish, though you can see Long Nose File Fish and Ribbon Eels here.
