The shallow depths of the north and east sides of South Button Island are ideal for snorkeling with lots of hard coral in the shallows, while the wall found on the south end of this island stops at 15 metres where a sandy slope continues down deeper. As well as marvelling at the tropical marine life on the wall itself which includes some terrific macro opportunities, it is worth heading down the sandy slope a little for the chance of hammerhead sharks in the distance!
